Alumni Race on Wimbledon Common – Saturday 16th December 2017 at 2.30pm
The annual Alumni Race will take place at the Thames Hare and Hounds Club House on Wimbledon Common (http://www.thameshareandhounds.org.uk/alumni.php)
There will drinks after the race at the Green Man Pub in Putney with Sedbergh and Ampleforth
Newton-Carter Trophy at Stonyhurst – Saturday 24th February 2018
The annual race between Ampleforth and Stonyhurst will take place at Stonyhurst on Saturday 24th February 2018 with a dinner for all runners and guests in the refectory at SMH afterwards.
This looks to be an excellent event and many runners of all ages and standards have already committed to running. Family and friends are also very welcome to run or support. The current x-country teams and old boys/girls from both schools will be entering teams.
The winning team will be racing for the “Christopher Newton-Carter Trophy”. Christopher was an old boy of Beaumont and Stonyhurst who was tragically killed in the September 11th attacks.
The booking form for the race and dinner can be viewed below – please could you complete this and return it to Beverley at the Association Office (note that you may also pay over the phone). There is no cost for the dinner as this has been kindly covered by the Association and the College and there is accommodation available in the Avenue Farmhouse.
