This year, to raise funds for our Stonyhurst Children’s Holiday Week, we have produced packs of ten cards, with a choice of two designs, five of each in a pack. You have the choice of two themes. The first theme is focused on the true meaning of Christmas and is taken from a ‘Book of Hours’. The manuscript illustrates the Nativity scene with the Three Kings offering gold, frankincense and myrrh. The second card in this theme is a picture of a manuscript illustrating Angel Gabriel visiting the shepherds to share the news of the birth of Jesus.
The second theme of our Christmas cards are actual photographs taken by one of our current Syntax Students, Ching Hao (Jason) Leung. These are photographs taken last winter of the stunning Stonyhurst campus. As ‘Brothers Walk’ was so popular last year, we have decided to use it again this year.
