4th December 2025, Stonyhurst Association Carol Service, 7pm
On Thursday 4th December, the Stonyhurst Association will hold their Carol Service in St Peter’s Church, Stonyhurst, followed by festive refreshments in the Theodore House.
We have reached capacity numbers for the post-service refreshments, however, you are still very welcome to attend the carol service in St Peter’s. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for the refreshments, please email association@stonyhurst.ac.uk.

On Tuesday 9th December, Stonyhurst College will hold their Carol Service in the beautiful Farm Street Church, London at 7pm. Capacity has now been reached for the post-service refreshments, but please do still come along to the service. No registration required.
17th January 2026. Invitation to join Sedbergh Cross-Country Race
On Saturday, 17th January, Sedbergh School will be holding the Symonds Run, a cross-country race which will take place on Frostrow Fell. Sedbergh have invited Old Stonyhurst to join this race under the ‘guest’ entry. OS will be competing as a team and are asked to enter as ‘Old Stonyhurst Cross-Country Club’.
Meet time: 2:00pm
Run start: 2:30pm
Course length: 4.8 miles
Teams: Old Sedberghians, staff, pupils, parents, and local runners/guests

Following the race, a dinner is being held at The Dalesman Country Inn, Sedbergh at 6pm. Old Stonyhurst are invited to join for this dinner. Registration for the dinner is required.

24th January 2026, OS Lunch at Preston Grasshoppers
We’re pleased to share that the annual OS Lunch at Preston Grasshoppers will take place on Saturday 24th January 2026, when the Hoppers will be playing Sheffield.
This informal and much-enjoyed event regularly attracts around 100 OS, former staff, partners and friends and we hope to welcome just as many this year.
